Invitation: Whole Grains Industry Survey

We received the following invitation from our friends at the University of New South Wales who are conducting a study about perceptions of whole grain foods and their categorization within food classification systems (including Nova) by food industry professionals.

The study is looking to recruit

individuals currently employed in the food industry with grain products as part of their portfolio. Participants will be asked to complete an online interview that will take approximately 30-45 minutes.

Anyone interested can email elissa.price@unsw.edu.au.

Growth in International Stamp Use

In our blog this month, we reported on international growth in the Whole Grain Stamp Program! We first introduced the Stamp in Latin America in 2009, and today there are more than 1800 products registered for Stamp use in this region. In 2010, the Stamp was introduced to the Asian market. Today there are about 600 Asian products registered for Stamp use. We look forward to continued expansion in these regions!

Any members interested in adding the Stamp to Whole Grain products in new regions can get in touch with Vik at vik@oldwayspt.org!
